Let's Talk Cremation

If you are searching for a cremation provider, you’ll find no shortage of services available. Cremation prices can vary dramatically depending on location and level of services. There are 4 primary types of cremation services available. These include: Cremation with Traditional Service Typically the highest cost of cremation. Incorporates the benefits of both a traditional funeral service and cremation, including embalming and a casket rental. Cremation is performed following the funeral services. Costs can run $5,000 and up depending on level of service. Costs typically include staff services, transfer fees, embalming, body preparation, funeral service, casket rental, vehicle rental and cremation charge. Cremation with Memorial Service With a memorial service, the cremated remains need not be present. Cremation with a memorial service is way to honor the memory of a loved-one in much the same way as you would during a funeral service. This service is often cheaper than the traditional cremation option, as there is no casket and no embalming charges. Costs for standard cremation with a memorial service typically run between $2,500 and $4,000. Cremation without Ceremony (also known as Direct Cremation) With direct cremation, there are no ceremonial services involved. The body is cremated shortly after passing, without embalming, viewing or visitation. This low cost cremation option usually runs between $595 and $1,200 (although prices can vary dramatically). Next to whole body donation, which includes cremation at no cost, this is the cheapest and most affordable cremation option.
